Dr Dee Chalmers, Director

Dee trained in ethnographic techniques with a PhD in Social Anthropology from Queens University, Belfast.

Starting her working life at Millward Brown Qualitative, Dee went on to play a key role in the growth of advertising research specialists Fusion.

A move to the US saw her set up and build the Qualitative Division of Hall & Partners’ newly opened New York office.

Returning to London, Dee moved across to advertising planning, having Board Planning Director roles at Publicis and D’Arcy.

Dee joined forces again with Matt Kirby in September 2002 to set up bob’s your uncle.

Dee has spoken at planning and research conferences in both Europe and the US on challenges facing planners and qualitative researchers.
