Matt started his career client-side as a brand planner for Nestle Rowntree, working on classic brands such as Quality Street, Black Magic, Aero and Toffee Crisp.

A desire to specialise in qualitative research saw him moving to Millward Brown Qualitative and then the HPI Research Group. In between he was a planner at the marketing and npd consultants, New Solutions.

Matt joined up with Dee in New York to form the team that established the Qualitative Division of Hall & Partners USA.

On returning to London, Matt set up an independent consultancy before reuniting with Dee in September 2002 to create bob’s your uncle.
